2011 Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year
NOMINATION FORM
Philanthropy is defined as voluntary action for the public good. In East Texas,
philanthropy is flourishing. In fact, while institutional services go through cutbacks, local
philanthropists continue to emerge to provide resources of time, talent and treasure for
local non-profits to do their work.
Qualifications: Nominee must be an Angelina or Nacogdoches county resident with a
continuing history of advancing the quality of life for the people of East Texas, as a
philanthropist, through:
- Community leadership
- Financial commitment to local organization(s)
- Advocacy for local cause(s)
- Board service in the non-profit sector
Winners will be honored at the KSWP/KAVX
Community Impact Awards Ceremony in the fall.
