The date draws nearer for the relocation of the transmitter to the new broadcast tower for next week.
The electrical is complete.
The phone and Internet service needs completing.
And the installation wiring for the transmitter is currently underway.
This installation is more intense and intricate than much of the rest of the job. Everything needs connecting correctly for the switch.
When complete is allows us to disconnect the transmitter at the current site and move it to the new, and connect the necessary electrical and data wiring needed to run the transmitter.
This relocation will take a day, possibly two, and the plan is to borrow a low power transmitter to stay on the air as much as possible.
So it’s possible you won’t hear us as clear as your normally do.
That’s all going to change once the transmitter is back on-line at the new tower site.
So it’s always wise to have a backup plan for yourself, which should include bookmarking KAVX for online listening and downloading and installing the KAVX app on your mobile device.
